Mandarin Oriental is offering a special deal for business travellers who stay in rooms on thenewly renovated executive floor of the Excelsior, Hong Kong. Until May 31, the packageincludes personalised check-in and check-out, exclusive access to the executive lounge in the morning for breakfast and in the evening for cocktails and canapes and free daily newspaper. Prices start at £120 per night for a superior room.
n Britannic travel wins courts contract
Britannic Travel has won the contract to manage the business travel requirements of furniture and electrical retailer Courts, which has a head office in Wimbledon, southwest London. The account will be managed by Britannic’s head office in New Malden, Surrey.
n Torquay hotel opens conference suite
The Grand Hotel, Torquay, is investing over £250,000 to create what it claims will be themost technically advanced conference suite in southwest England. Facilities include a control system which will allow one person to manage an entire conference presentation using one compact, simple panel. The new suite is now available for bookings.
n gtm installs new support system
The Travel Company GTM has installed a new support system, called Tango, which enables users to analyse airline supplier options and calculate potential savings. It allows data from airlines to be supplied electronically via the GTM global reporting system.
