Emma Yorke to leave Belleair Holidays

Belleair Holidays national sales manager Emma Yorke is to leave the tour operator after 12 years.Emma Yorke

Yorke, who is well-known in the industry, has decided to take a sabbatical from the industry to spend more time with her family and concentrate on some personal projects.

Her decision follows a senior management shake-up in April of this year, when James Coughlan, formerly of Affinion International Travel, joined Holiday Malta Company, which includes Belleair, and chief executive Martin Zahra moved to the international shore operations division of parent company, Malta-based shipping, tourism, insurance and travel business SMS Group.

In a statement, company directors Coughlan and Dave Green said: “We would like to thank Emma for her distinguished service to the business and wish her the very best for the future, with the assurance that she will always be a part of the Belleair family.

“She has been a loyal ambassador for Belleair Holidays and during her time with the business has managed to enhance and maintain its standing within the wider marketplace and leaves the business in a position in which to flourish and develop with our key partners.”

At the same time, the company has announced the appointment of Craig Davidson to the role of director of sales for the Holiday Malta Company. Reporting into Davidson will be two new trade sales executives, Lisa Aslund and Sarah Hillier, who will work with trade partners and help to grow the business.

Holiday Malta is licenced to carry 6070 passengers in 2014.
