Travel Network Group promises online revolution for members

Travel agency consortium The Travel Network Group has launched a new online marketing service through a deal with Net Effect.

The agreement will see agency members in Worldchoice and the Travel Trust Association access full online marketing support, including social media and website management.

Agents will be offered their own bespoke branded website as well as get increased assistance with SEO and PPC on their existing websites.

TNG said the deal means agents’ online businesses will be “revolutionised” as they are given access to superior technologies.

Si Prentice, group marketing director of The Travel Network Group, said: “We are working with Net Effect technology to create an online proposition for members that is second to none.

“Members who participate will be able to choose their own look and feel to their individual sites from several templates and all the content, including packaged deals and marketing offers – as well has a huge range of marketing materials – can be sent to members’ websites electronically. We can even integrate their social media activities.

“Many of our members struggle with the cost and expertise to develop effective websites and need support on content management. By joining forces with us on this new initiative, they can have state of the art technology with expert back up and support for a very reasonable investment.”

Steve Rushton, of Net Effect co-founder, added:  “We are delighted to be working with The Travel Network Group to help them deliver their new online marketing services for Members.

“Our LateCards system significantly enhances marketing potential by putting product directly in front of customers and saving everyone valuable time in the process. Ready formatted and with no re-keying of information required, the system is simple to use and removes duplication of effort.

“The software will also allow members to send attractive marketing emails at the touch of a button, complete with product of their choice linked directly to their own sites/online channels.

“Making it quick and easy to immediately share product with clients is clearly good news all round: for clients, members and operators. We look forward to helping Members get excited and confident about marketing in the digital age.”

A new feature is Net Effect LateCards software, which will deliver The Travel Network Group’s Deal ++ offering.

This gives members up-to-date pricing on negotiated products, maintained content and the full suite of online marketing collateral centrally managed by the group.

The Deal ++ concept, introduced in May last year, involves unique product offering only available to members of TNG. These offers include room updates, transfers, special car parking rates and other add-ons.

Deal ++ content can now download the deals for use in their windows, social media and local marketing activities.

Gary Lewis, group managing director of The Travel Network Group, said:  “We have invested significantly in our marketing area over the past 18 months and today’s announcement further demonstrates our on-going commitment to our growth strategy which is all about helping members build their businesses.”
