A newly-formed group executive committee of the merged Tui Ag and Tui Travel met in London for the first time yesterday.
The group executive committee will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the new Tui Group.
“With such a management structure the group is in line with leading international companies,” the merged entity said.
The start of the Tui Group tomorrow (December 17) will be officially marked by its shares starting to trade for the first time on the London Stock Exchange.
Members of the 13-strong group executive committee include joint chief executives Peter Long and Friedrich Joussen; deputy chief executive mainstream Johan Lundgren; accommodation & destinations and specialist & activity chief executive Will Waggott; Tui UK and Ireland managing director David Burling; Tui Germany managing director Christian Clemens; chief financial officer Horst Baier; chief HR officer, strategic platforms Sebadtian Ebel; group director corporate and eternal affairs Thomas Ellerbeck; chief marketing officer Erik Friemuth; group director controlling, CFO mainstream Kenton Jarvis; general counsel Hilka Schneider and group HR director Jacky Simmonds.
