A new 131-night circular Pacific itinerary has been confirmed by Princess Cruises to replace a previously announced 2026 world cruise to bypass the Red Sea and surrounding region.
The sailing is being touted as most destination-rich voyage ever offered by the line.
The company said: “The decision follows extensive consultations with global security experts and government authorities, to ensure Princess upholds the highest standards of safety while delivering an exceptional travel experience.”
Princess added that it was contacting passengers who already booked the originally released 2026 world cruise with details of compensation, updating their bookings and related policies.
The new itinerary by Coral Princess is to depart from Fort Lauderdale in Florida on January 5, 2026 and visit 60 ports in 19 countries around the Pacific before culminating in Los Angeles on May 16.
Regions covered include Hawaii, French Polynesia, the South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Alaska and the US west coast.
Destinations include Auckland, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Fiji, Osaka, Singapore, Sydney and Tahiti, with many late-night stays.
A shorter 115-night return voyage from Los Angeles, departing on January 21, 2026, as well as shorter segments sailing in various regions, are available.
Princess president John Padgett said: “This circle Pacific voyage is more than just an itinerary, it’s an invitation to explore some of the Pacific’s most iconic and remote destinations in a single, unforgettable journey.
“We’ve crafted this route to showcase the beauty, culture, and diversity of 19 countries, from the volcanic shores of Hawaii to the bustling streets of Bangkok and the serene landscapes of Alaska.”
