GoCruise & Travel is to develop a new franchise service centre to enhance support into the new year.
The agency, part of Fred Olsen Travel, outlined the details at the group’s annual conference in Coventry.
More than 100 franchisee members and business partners attended the two-day event.
Newly-promoted head of franchise Colin Martin-Weekes outlined plans for the creation of the new service centre which will provide members with more business and administration support, including system help and event and activity planning for business growth.
He also detailed of a new support package for the 2025 peak booking period which will focus on being commercially “in-the-know”, health and well-being when working from home and sharing success stories and ideas across the network of members to encourage business growth.
Martin-Weekes said: “This year it was really important to highlight our 2024 successes with membership retention, business growth up 15% on 2023 and how fast-paced our recruitment of new members has been.
“It’s all about looking after what we have built together and having the right fit for us with our recruitment processes.
“Next year, I am aiming for 2025 to be ‘the year of the franchise’ and to achieve this we will continue to focus on the importance of relationships to building a successful platform for our members to thrive.”
