Corendon Airlinessaw an increase in load factor year-on-year in 2024 as it prepares for UK expansion.
The most flown route in the UK was Gatwick to Antalya with Corendon adding Izmir to its list of destinations from the UK for 2025.
The most popular UK airports for the Turkish leisure airline this year were Gatwick, followed by Manchester, Birmingham, Stansted, Glasgow, Newcastle and Bristol.
Antalya was the top destination, followed by Heraklion in Crete and Hurghada, Egypt.
The airline currently operates a fleet of 32 aircraft, serving 165 destinations in 65 countries.
UK country manager Matthew Carpenter said: “We carry six million passengers each year to holiday destinations, including Turkey, Spain, Greece, Morocco and Egypt, from various European countries.
“Our focus remains on enhancing our flight network and schedules, enabling sustainable growth.
“This year, we increased our load factor to 86.20%, surpassing last year’s figure of 85%.”
He added: ”In 2024, we introduced sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80%.
“This effort, alongside our longstanding commitment to efficient aircraft use, solidified our position as the fourth-cleanest airline globally and the leader in Turkey, according to Atmosfair.
“2025 will see continued growth as we increase seat capacity, expand our destinations, and launch projects that deliver exceptional service.”
