The first of 20 travel clinics to appear nationwide in Flight Centre branches has opened in London.

Travel advice from consultants will be complemented with a comprehensive travel health service.

The service is the result of a new partnership with Medical Advisory Service for Travellers Abroad (Masta), an organisation which operates the largest network of private travel clinics in the UK.

Consultations with travel health experts will cover tailored advice for travellers, including recommendations on vaccination requirements, anti-malarials and preventative measures.

Appointments will be available seven days a week, with prices starting at £20 per consultation.

The launch of the clinic coincides with the opening of Flight Centre’s refurbished flagship store in High Street Kensington, featuring interactive design elements, including LCD screens and interactive displays.

Flight Centre UK and South Africa managing director, Chris Galanty, said: “We have seen a growing trend amongst customers who wish to book long haul holidays in multiple destinations.

“The travel clinic has been created to empower these travellers by providing them with up-to-date health advice for their entire trip.

“Together with our travel butler concierge service, Flight Centre now offers hands-on support to our customers from the moment they book their holiday until they arrive home from their travels.

“Our aim is to offer a comprehensive service that takes care of all the details for you, leaving you to look forward to your trip with confidence.”
