Specialist cruise line Star Clippers has recruited Emma Hilton as its new regional sales manager for the north.
She replaces Alison Jared who has decided to take a career break in the spring.
Hilton, who has 29 years of experience in the travel industry, will begin the RSM role on April 22.
She is moving from Olympic Holidays, where she has been for eight years. Previous roles include RSM for Bellair Holidays and Setnet Global.
Hilton will report to head of trade sales Nicola Cox and will be responsible for existing relationships while sourcing new business, as the number of Star Clippers passengers departing from the northern region continues to grow.
Fay McCormack, general manager of Star Clippers’ UK general sales agent, said: “We have no doubt her vast experience of developing and growing trade relationships will be invaluable to our small, yet hugely dedicated team.
“We are pleased to be able to continue supporting travel agents with a loyal and committed presence on the road to ensure that our agent partners remain informed, supported and educated.”
Hilton said: “I am really excited to join the Star Clippers team and look forward to transferring my previous skills and experience to assist in the growth of the business.”
