G Touring brands Just You and Travelsphere plan to expand their trade team following “significant” sales growth so far this year.
They aim to recruit a new key account manager for the Midlands and a business development executive, to support agent engagement.
These new appointments will bring the trade sales team to a total of seven.
The escorted touring specialists said sales in January were up by 30% year on year, “in part due to strong demand for European tours”.
Since their brochures were launched, new dates have been added to a range of 2025 tours to cater for the increased demand.
Rachel Mould (pictured), UK head of trade sales at Travelsphere and Just You, said: “Our trade partners have gone above and beyond during peaks and that is reflected in the significant growth we’ve seen this year.
“Our plans to grow the trade team demonstrate our commitment to supporting agents and tapping into the growing demand for escorted touring.”
Extra departures for Just You tours include new June dates for Walking the Camino de Santiago and Discover Puglia, while September departures have been added for Traditional Trains of the Pyrenees and Albania Uncovered.
Several Travelsphere tours are also gaining extra departures, with more dates added between June and November.
Destinations include the Pyrenees, Switzerland, the Amalfi coast and a tour of Budapest, Vienna and Prague.
