Bridge the world looks for 15% growth


Bridge the World is predicting 15% growth over the next couple of years in its New Zealand operations, although it refused to put estimates on the increase. The company says tourists are no longer adding on New Zealand to an Australian itinerary and are now recognising the country as more accessible and affordable.


ausbound introduces travellers’ pass


Tour operator Ausbound has introduced a pass that gives travellers unlimited access to train, ferry or coach travel within a fixed period of time. The pass operates on a points system with 600 points costing £147, 800 points for £191 and 1,000 points for £231. All three passes are valid for 18 days.


Travel 2 cuts cost of APT coach tours


Travel 2 is offering savings of £99 per person on Australian Pacific Tours’ coach tours throughout New Zealand. The offer applies to any tour of 10 days or longer booked before August 31 for travel until March 31 2000.
