ABTAis urging agents to attend a critical meeting with British Airways tomorrow night in Glasgow to voice opposition to plans for commission axing.
As an incentive, ABTA in Scotland has arranged a special rate for members to stay at the meeting’s venue in The Holiday Inn in Renfrew Street.
Vice-chairman of ABTA in Scotland Ken McNab said: “This is one of the few opportunities agents will have to influence the future relationship. We believe it is important they all attend.”
The meeting starts at 6.30pm.
The whole evening will be dedicated to the commission issue and dropping the interim bonus scheme.
BA has yet to set payments to agents when it cuts commission. ABTA believes there is still time for negotiation.
