Jetline Travel has become the latest member to join the Advantage Travel Partnership.
The agency was previously not a member of any travel organisation and Jetline’s managing director Steven Roberts said that was because they itinially couldn’t see “the value in joining a consortium”
The announcement brings the number of new agency businesses joining Advantage to 23 this year.
Roberts said: “We never could see the value in joining a consortium until we met with the management team at Advantage. Whilst access to improved commercial terms with offer us a real benefit, we saw bigger potential in being part of such a professional organisation that shares our business values and we are excited about forging a winning partnership in so many areas”
Colin O’Neill, business development director at Advantage, said:: “We are very pleased that Jetline Travel has chosen to join us and they typify the calibre of new members that we have brought into the organisation.
“We have defined a deliberate policy of only targeting agency businesses that we genuinely believe will add increased value to the agents who are currently part of the group.
“We have established ourselves as the UK’s largest and most professional independent travel group and it is important that any new members joining the organisation enhances the reputation that we have attained.”
