The Lithuanian coastal resort of Palanga is to be served by Wizz air from Luton airport next year.
Twice-weekly flights to the Baltic Sea destination start on March 23 with one-way fares starting at £24.49.
The budget carrier is providing an initial capacity of 37,000 seats on the route.
The service will provide people of western Lithuania, including the country’s third largest city, Klaipeda, access to air travel without having to travel to Vilnius or Riga, Wizz Air said.
A spokesman for the airline said: “This is an opportunity for the local tourism sector to attract UK visitors on Wizz’s low air fares to its famous Lithuanian seaside resort on the Baltic shore.”
