A record total of 170 agents have confirmed they will be attending next year’s Global Travel Group conference in Dubai within three weeks of the launch.
An additional 20 agents are currently on the waiting list.
The consortium is adding additional places due to demand and is encouraging members to confirm their attendance as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment.
The consortium’s annual conference is being held at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai on May 22-26 following dnata’s acquisition of Stella Travel Services this year.
Global Travel Group managing director, Andy Stark, said: “With places selling out in less than three weeks, all eyes will be on both The Global Travel Group and dnata in May next year.
“It’s fantastic to see that our members and suppliers too are looking forward to the conference and it promises to be another great event with a mix of industry panels, top speakers, two supplier focused afternoons and of course time for us to showcase the amazing destination that is Dubai.”
