Registrations for this year’s Abta’s Travel Convention in Abu Dhabi have opened.
The event, which will focus on the association’s “vision for the future”, will take place on October 10-12 at the Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi on Yas Island.
Discounted flights are being offered to delegates by host partners Etihad Airways, while the airline’s destination management company, Hala Abu Dhabi, will host tours of the city.
Travel Weekly is the official trade partner for the three-day convention and will be covering all the latest news and events before, during and after the event.
The official theme for this year’s event has not yet been revealed but is due to be announced in the coming days.
On the first day of the convention a golf tournament will be held at Yas Links course, while a football match will take place at the five-star Emirates Palace hotel.
Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal will host delegates for a tour of the facility, which opened in December 2015.
Delegates will also be able to take advantage of free entry to Yas Island theme parks including Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld.
