Former Tui airports manager launches consultancy

Tui’s former head of commercial for airports, Paul Cooper (pictured, left) , has launched a new consultancy with the help of former Leeds Bradford Airport sales and marketing manager James Broughton (pictured, right).

Can Do Aviation Consultancy has been established with a view to supporting airports, airlines and tour operators globally in growing route networks and increasing passenger numbers and yields.

The firm will work closely with Broughton’s Can Do Marketing, which launched last March, to offer a combined service, if needed, to potential clients.

Cooper said he launched the consultancy following demand from within the aviation sector for his knowledge, having spent 16 years at Tui.

“I have an enviable knowledge of the aviation sector, especially airline and airport relations, plus successful route development experience from a tour operating and leisure perspective,” he said.

“I can draw upon this and my experience from working with Tui, to enable Can Do Aviation to provide an invaluable service in supporting aviation businesses in targeting passenger and revenue growth.”

Broughton, whose clients include the Peel Airport Group and MAG, added: “Can Do Marketing has already supported several UK airports with their marketing strategy in not only increasing awareness of routes and services, but enhancing passenger growth,

maximising commercial revenue, implementing unique events and generating associated PR.

“Myself and Paul know what customers expect, we know what airlines want, and how airports can position themselves within both the travel trade, consumer and digital arenas to grow business.”
