Three budding agent performers have been selected as the finalists of Princess Cruises’ Voice of the Ocean competition.
Vickie Jones, of Thomas Cook in Broughton Park, James Grant of Love to Travel in Coatsbridge, and Katie George of Thomson in Queens Street, Cardiff, were picked as the three finalists. They were among the shortlisted agents who performed onboard Emerald Princess last month.
The trio will perform at the Clia Conference later this month as part of evening entertainment and delegates will be asked to vote for the winner.
The overall winner will get a seven night Scandinavia cruise for two onboard Emerald Princess. The two runners up will each win a pair of VIP V Festival camping tickets.
Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief at Travel Weekly, who was a judge for the competition, said: “The judging onboard Emerald Princess was great. All of the shortlisted agents were brilliant, and I’m really excited about the top three finalists we’ve picked to perform at the 10th anniversary of the Clia Conference.”
