Las Vegas has emerged as the fastest growing long-haul city break for Southall Travel with bookings up by almost a third in the last year.
Bangkok was the second fastest growing for long haul specialist Southall Travel, with bookings up by 30% year-on-year.
Singapore was the third fast growing destination, up 27%.
Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the UAE and venue for next month’s Abta Travel Convention, is now challenging Dubai as a top city break destination by becoming the fourth fastest growing city, up 24%.
Mumbai completes the top five list of the fastest growing city break destinations, up 8% on the previous year, booking data at Southall Travel revealed.
However, Dubai retains its position as the most popular long-haul city break destination for British holidaymakers, followed by New York, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Southall Travel managing director, Kuljinder Bahia, said: “Las Vegas is becoming a very popular city break destination with British travellers heading to the entertainment capital of the world in their droves.
“Our booking data shows that we are becoming more and more adventurous with our travels with destinations such as Abu Dhabi and Mumbai now becoming firm favourites amounts British holidaymakers.”
