TALONGROVE Travel, the company which owns tour operator Voyages of Discovery, has launched a dedicated Egypt programme specialising in Nile cruises and tailor-made classical tours.
Starting on 19 July, Discover Egypt will have a first-year capacity of 10,000.
Voyages of Discovery chairman Roger Allard said the move is in response to large multiples buying out independent operators to the region.
He said:”There is a market for selling through independent retail travel agencies.”
Discover Egypt will be overseen by general manager David Wiles. He worked previously as an industry consultant and in the past has worked for Olympic Holidays and Intasun.
The brochure features three, four and five-star hotels in Cairo, Aswan and Luxor with a lead-in price of £329 for bed and breakfast accommodation including flights.
The cruise programme features four, five-star and deluxe ships carrying out Nile cruises. Cruise prices start at £359 based on three nights in Aswan and four in Luxor.
