HARVEY Thomas Travel managing director Roger Thompson is set to relinquish his hands-on role and become non-executive chairman of the agency from April 1.
Diane Robson, who is sales and marketing director, is to take over as managing director from that date.
She will work with Terry Green, director of operations and Information Technology, and Steve Madden, director of client services. Deputy managing director John Sheppard is retiring and Thompson said he intends to retire in two years.
“The business travel management industry faces several challenges in the future and I have every confidence in the ability of these people to succeed,” he said.
Thompson joined the London-based independent as managing director in 1980.
