Air Canada restores transatlantic links from Dublin

Air Canada is restoring seasonal summer transatlantic connections from Dublin to Vancouver and Montreal.

Non-stop flights between Dublin and Vancouver operate four times a week between June 3 and September 30 and to Montreal three times weekly from June 2 until October 1.

The airline will deploy 298-passenger Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and 255-seat 787-8s on the routes in a three-class configuration.

Country sales manager for Ireland Blaithin O’Donnell said:“This is very exciting news for our customers in Dublin who can start planning their next trip to rediscover Canada.

“Our non-stop flights from Dublin to Vancouver and Montreal will provide our customers in Ireland with a direct link to Canada and beyond. We look forward to welcoming our customers back on board.”

Dalton Philips, chief executive of Dublin airport operator DAA, added: “The recommencement of these routes will be great news for business and leisure passengers in Ireland, Montreal and Vancouver and we anticipate strong demand for these services in both directions.

“We look forward to continuing to work with Air Canada in promoting their services from Dublin airport.”
