American Airlines reopens revamped Heathrow lounge

A revamped American Airlines’ lounge at Heathrow has reopened.

The Admirals Club at Terminal 3 has undergone a refresh during its closure while Covid flight restrictions were in place.

The facility, at 1,130 square metres, can accommodate 260 passengers with a range of food and drink.

The lounge is open daily from 6.30am to 6.30pm and is located on the Terminal 3 departure level, beyond passport control in lounge area H.

The carrier has now reopened 32 lounges at airports around the world, including 25 in the US.

The airline’s Europe and Asia Pacific operations managing director Rhett Workman said: “Our London Heathrow Admirals Club aims to further enhance the customer experience for our valued guests, whether they are travelling between the US and Europe or connecting beyond Heathrow.

“We want to continue reinvesting in our products and services to best meet the needs of all our passengers, especially at a time when seamless travel is key.”
