Dnata promotes Simon Woodford to global air distribution role

Dnata Travel Group has appointed Simon Woodford as vice president of global air services and distribution.

He has been promoted from director – air supply, a role he has held since 2015 and through which he has led a multi-site team responsible for growing air revenue.

Before dnata Travel Group, Woodford held senior positions with Stella Travel Services UK, which was acquired by dnata, STA Travel and Air France.

In his new role, Woodford will assume responsibility for the air teams in Dubai as well as the UK, with a remit that includes strategic alliances, revenue management, GSA air and distribution.

He will also lead technological innovation efforts to meet the changing needs of modern distribution and retailing of air supply.

He will report directly to John Bevan, divisional senior vice president of dnata Travel Group.
