More than 170,000 holidaymakers are due to fly with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays on a record getaway weekend for the airline and tour operator.
At least 800 flights are scheduled over the weekend to and from over 60 destinations in the Mediterranean and Canary Islands.
As many as 450 flights will operate on Saturday alone at the start of the school summer holidays in England.
A total of 15.5 million seats are on sale for this summer 23, up by 7% over last year.
Majorca, Tenerife and Faro are the three most popular destinations together with mainland Spain, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Malta.
Chief executive Steve Heapy said: “The start of the summer holidays marks the beginning of the peak summer season, so this time of year is traditionally always a busy time for us.
“However, this demand combined with our continued growth means that this year we will have a record-breaking weekend, and it will be our busiest Saturday and Sunday ever in Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ history.”
