More leaders in the field of sustainability have been confirmed for Travel Weekly’s free-to-attend Sustainability Summit in central London on Thursday, November 24.
The event will be hosted by Google and will feature a series of panel discussions and presentations on how the industry must adapt to ensure a sustainable future for its businesses and the destinations and communities it serves.
Previously announced speakers include Intrepid Group chief executive James Thornton, Travel Corporation Tour Brands chief executive Gavin Tollman, easyJet sustainability director Jane Ashton and Heathrow sustainability director Matthew Gorman.
They will be joined by recently confirmed speakers including Emily Cromwell, sustainability director, Deloitte; Cait Hewitt, policy director, Aviation Environment Federation; Carolyn Wincer, managing director, Travelife; Hedda Felin, chief executive, Hurtigruten Norway; Nico Nicholas, chief executive, Trees4Travel; Matt Finch, UK policy manager, Transport & Environment; Esteban Delgado, chairman, Preverisk Group; and Carol Rose, senior sustainability manager, Abta.
Explorer, television presenter and Kuoni ambassador Simon Reeve will also appear in a video interview about his programming and views on a sustainable future for travel.
