Norse Atlantic Airways has celebrated the start of its Gatwick to Washington DC services.
Flights operate six times a week, with fares starting from £450 return.
Gatwick to Washington Dulles flight departs at 15:00 and arrives at 18:20 local time. The return departs at 20:25 and arrives at 08:45 the following day.
Bjorn Tore Larsen, the airline’s chief executive, said: “We are pleased to now be able to provide travellers with greater choice and affordable fares on the first service linking London Gatwick and Washington Dulles.
“These two capital cities are perfect destinations for both leisure and business travellers.
“We look forward to a busy summer ahead as we become Gatwick’s largest carrier to the US.”
Norse Atlantic operates Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with economy and premium, and a range of fares: Light, Classic and Flextra, offering different meal, baggage and ticket flexibility options.
