Celebrity Cruises has made 100 cabins on UK-based Celebrity Silhouette available as part of a competition to thank Blue Light Card holders in this country.
Anyone working in the emergency services, NHS, social care sector or armed forces can enter to be in with a chance of winning a holiday on the ship’s first sailing around the British Isles, which departs Southampton on July 3.
To enter the Giving Back To Heroes competition, Blue Light Card holders must nominate themselves by sharing a story via the Celebrity Cruises’ website.
Winners will be announced when the competition closes on June 10. All nominees must be fully vaccinated by June 19 to take the prize.
Jo Rzymowska, vice president and managing director, Europe Middle East and Africa, said: “The last year has been challenging for all, but none more so than our incredible emergency workers who have donned their hero capes on a daily basis, inspiring us through this unprecedented time.
“As life slowly turns towards a new normal and we begin to embrace a return to the seas, we want to take a moment to celebrate and honour all these astonishing people, by offering some escapism and well-deserved ‘me time’ onboard our beautiful ship from Southampton this summer.”
