Food fit for royalty

Seventeen restaurants, including eight from celebrity chefs, offer everything from Nuevo‐Andean delights to an Athenian experience. Head to Dinner by Heston Blumenthal for a multi-sensory culinary experience led by the Michelin-starred chef, or sample regional Spanish cuisine by the award-winning José Andrés at Jaleo.

Elsewhere, TV personality Ariana Bundy has opened her debut restaurant, Ariana’s Persian Kitchen, serving the likes of rose-scented seabass, Caspian-style filet kebab and other Iranian specialities, while baking aficionado Mich Turner offers creative cakes to satisfy the sweet-toothed. If all that’s not enough, guests can also access the awardwinning restaurants of Atlantis, The Palm, bringing the number of restaurants and bars to more than 50 across both resorts.

Wake up to wellness

You’d expect a unique resort to offer a unique wellness space, and Atlantis The Royal doesn’t disappoint. Its AWAKEN Wellness – more than 5,000sq m in size – features a six‐room Hammam Sensorium offering a sensory experience, luxurious treatment rooms, a halotherapy salt cave, a 25m lap pool, a state‐of‐the‐art fitness centre, a styling salon and an outdoor meditation and yoga lawn.

Guests can choose from a wide range of treatments and fitness programmes, tailoring their experience to suit their preferences, with the ultimate aim of reconnecting within.

Relax in style

Atlantis The Royal is home to exceptional lounge and entertainment spaces, with Cloud 22 on the 22nd floor at the heart of the action. This stunning space is centred around a 90m infinity pool, open‐air restaurant and sky-high bar, with DJs taking to the decks as the sun sets.

Overlooking the sky pool is Ling Ling by Hakkasan, another stylish hangout spot that combines a Pan Asian restaurant with a lounge bar, event space and outdoor terrace offering views of The Palm and Dubai’s sparkling skyline. For a pre-dinner drink, head to Resonance by Heston Blumenthal, where guests can sip signature cocktails next to one of the world’s largest jellyfish aquariums.

Elsewhere, guests can watch the region’s first fire‑meets‑water show, a dazzling spectacle that takes place at the Skyblaze Fountain, or relax on the private beach that’s over a mile long; the largest stretch of continuous, accessible and privately owned beachfront in the city. Here you’ll also find Sky Pool Villa Resonance by Heston Blumenthal Royal Mansion Estiatorio Milos Jaleo by José Andrés Nobu by the Beach – a Japanese-inspired pool and beach club complete with its own private pool, serving eclectic cocktails and inventive Japanese-meets-Peruvian cuisine against an Insta-worthy backdrop.

Out-of-this-world attractions

Away from the bars, the resort offers plenty to lure – not least Aquaventure Waterpark, which sits between Atlantis The Royal and Atlantis, The Palm, and is the world’s largest waterpark, home to more than 105 attractions and experiences.

It’s also where you’ll find The Lost Chambers Aquarium; one of the world’s biggest open-air aquariums, home to 65,000 marine animals and offering a myriad underwater experiences designed to enchant – in true Atlantis style.
