International cuisine

For some top-notch British dishes, try Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, where the MICHELIN‑starred chef takes inspiration from medieval cuisine. His spit-roast pineapple dessert, Tipsy Cake, is one of his most famous. Blumenthal is also opening new cocktail bar Resonance next year. Greek dishes can be sampled at Estiatorio Milos by Costas Spiliadis.

Ingredients ranging from fish and oysters to vegetables and dips are enjoyed here in their freshest form, and it’s no surprise this is one of the world’s highestquality Mediterranean seafood restaurants. Meanwhile, at Jaleo Dubai, chef José Andrés curates delicious Spanish dishes, from hearty paellas to delicate tapas, which can be enjoyed with rich Spanish wines.

For a meal full of fragrances, spices and textures, recommend Ariana’s Persian Kitchen, the debut restaurant from Ariana Bundy, who creates classic Iranian speciality dishes with a modern twist. For food with a phenomenal view of The Palm, the Arabian Sea and Dubai’s mesmerising skyline, head to Ling Ling by Hakkasan, where delectable dishes and elaborate cocktails are complemented by the vibrant atmosphere.

Renowned Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa has a new eatery too, Nobu by the Beach at Atlantis The Royal, where his sushi creations can be enjoyed in beachside cabanas. And for some upscale Peruvian cuisine, head to La Mar by Gastón Acurio, where fish dishes can be paired with pisco sours.

Sweet treats

Those with a sweet tooth will not miss out here. Little Venice Cake Company by Mich Turner offers some of the most delicately created sweet treats. And that’s not all. At adjoining sister property Atlantis, The Palm, there are even more celebrity chef-helmed restaurants, including Nobu and Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen.
