Enjoy new rides and attractions – plus big savings – at SeaWorld’s trio of Florida parks

Thrilling rides and slides abound at Florida’s SeaWorld Parks – the perfect spot for a generous dose of summer fun. With new record-breaking coasters and child-friendly waterslides, the three Florida SeaWorld Parks are well-equipped to ensure excitement for all the family – complete with family-sized savings.

Summer and surfing go hand in hand, so recommend a ride on SeaWorld’s recently opened Pipeline: The Surf Coaster. On this immersive experience, riders are secured on the surfboard‑shaped vehicle in a standing position as they bolt through a series of twists and turns at speeds of up to 60mph.

Guests can also visit the new Coral Rescue Center. Home to 350 coral colonies and 15 species of at-risk coral, visitors will get a unique insight into SeaWorld’s conservation efforts and observe biologists working to repopulate Florida’s coral reef.

New this year at Tampa’s Busch Gardens, Serengeti Flyer propels riders to heights of up to 41 metres and creates multiple negative G-force moments on twin duelling arms. The ride is the world’s tallest and fastest of its kind, but also boasts another unique feature – the intensity level can be adjusted for a milder or wilder experience.

This summer also sees the return of Summer Nights. Running on select dates, this programme is packed full of shows, including the Summer Nights Firework Spectacular, to enjoy after a day on the thrilling rides.

Lively water park Aquatica promises slides, rivers and lagoons – ideal for cooling down in the summer sun. There are 50 waterslides, as well as beaches and lounge chairs. The main attraction for younger visitors is the recently opened Turi’s Kid Cove, where children can enjoy spraying jets, tipping buckets and the new Tamariki Twirl waterslide – a kid‑sized slide that riders can race down in an inflatable ring.
