Celebrity Apex welcomes agents on board to learn all about the cruise line

Do you know your Magic Carpet from your Mast Grill and your Celebrity Silhouette from your Celebrity Apex?

It’s not too late to register for the Celebrity Cruises for Beginners programme, in partnership with Travel Weekly, for an introduction to the line.

Last month, two groups of agents joined a ‘Seminar at Sea’ on board Celebrity Apex to learn about all things Celebrity Cruises.

The groups, comprising 12 agents in total, travelled on three-night sailings from Amsterdam to Cork, or Cork to Belfast, taking part in training sessions and enjoying foodie experiences and behind-the-scenes ship tours.

Agents’ views: Celebrity Apex

“I am new to cruising and found it an amazing experience in every way. I really enjoyed having a full tour of the ship and learning all about the different staterooms and exploring the bridge. I also enjoyed seeing the restaurants, and the food quality was amazing! All the staff are very professional and friendly.”

Samantha Barnes, Cruise.co.uk

“I’ve been blown away by the whole experience. My biggest takeaway was that Celebrity can organise occasions like weddings and renewal of vows. The ambience, variety of foods, speciality restaurants and the entertainment was outstanding – I loved every show.”

Julie-Ann Jordan, Oasis Travel

“Nothing can compare to experiencing the product like a customer, first-hand. Once your customers are on board, they can book their future cruises and gain perks that they couldn’t get elsewhere, like low deposits and extra onboard credit. And the staff on board will link the booking back to you and upsell with their expert knowledge of the ships and itineraries – meaning more commission for you for less work.”

Katrina Bevan, Barrhead Travel

Celebrity Cruises, in collaboration with Travel Weekly, is running a Celebrity Cruises for Beginners programme. Agents can earn points for participating in various activities, including attending virtual masterclasses, and those with the highest number of points will be in with a chance of winning a range of prizes.
