Arena River Cruises unveils 2023 programme

Arena River Cruises has unveiled its 2023 programme with early bird rates, and warned increasing operating costs mean prices are set to rise.

The new programme includes both short and long voyages, as well as festive breaks.

Itineraries include a three-night cruise from Rotterdam to Amsterdam in April 2023, which is currently available for £495 based on two people sharing a main deck cabin on a full board basis, including return coach travel from the UK and ferry crossing from Dover.

New for 2023 is the line’s Salzburg and historic gems along the Rhine cruise, departing July 2. Guests will travel on the Rhine and Main rivers as well as the Main-Danube Canal. Early bird prices cost from £1,649 based on two sharing a main deck cabin.

Managing director Steve Goodenough has warned agents places on popular cruises are limited due to trips being rescheduled during the pandemic.

He also warned increases in operating costs mean prices will rise “in the near future”, so agents should book as soon as possible.

He said: “Now that pandemic travel restrictions have largely been lifted, we are seeing greater confidence in booking and clients are starting to plan further ahead again.

“With many departures this year filled by bookings rescheduled during the pandemic, availability on some of our more popular cruises has been limited, but plenty of dates are now available for those planning for 2023 already.

“Unfortunately, due to ongoing increases in operating costs it is inevitable that prices will have to rise in the near future so we would recommend that agents encourage their clients to book early wherever possible to secure the best prices.”
