Classic Collection reiterates thanks for agents’ ‘understanding’ with new incentive

Classic Collection has unveiled a summer trade incentive as it reiterated thanks to agents for their “understanding” for disruption during its transition to a single brand.

The operator recently unveiled a new booking platform after completing the move from two agent-facing brands to a “one brand, one platform” model.

It previously announced a restructure of its trade division to streamline its Classic Collection Holidays and Classic Package Holidays operations and said the single Classic Collection brand would offer “more product choice and booking flexibility”.

The new campaign, called ‘Summer of Love’, offers agents the chance to win £500 towards a summer wardrobe by making a booking before August 31.

The On the Beach-owned operator’s seven-strong trade team will also visit agents to deliver cocktails and mocktails in addition to branded merchandise.

Manisha Blair, trade marketing manager, said: “We thought we’d inject some much-needed fun and sun into a UK summer which so far has proved to be a little underwhelming. Our Summer of Love campaign does exactly this.”

Jorge Quibell, head of sales for the south, added: “We love to reward agents for their business, and it’s also a way to say thank you to our trade partners for their understanding while we’ve been undergoing our transition into a one platform, one brand, 100% trade-focused operator.

“As the sun is finally making an appearance, in addition to our usual Classic Collection Black Cards rewards of up to £1,000 per booking, we’re also giving agents the chance to win their summer wardrobe of their choice.”
