Crystal Ski Holidays expands range for beginners

Crystal Ski Holidays has expanded its range of packages for beginners for the third year running.

Aimed at apprehensive beginner skiers and boarders, Slope Starters is now available in Niederau in Austria, as well as Soldeu in Andorra and Flaine in France.

The Niederau Slope Starters beginner week will run February 1-8, 2025, with Soldeu taking place on January 19-26, 2025, and Flaine March 8-15, 2025.

Crystal Ski Holidays clarifies ‘snow promise’ amid scarcity

Starting at £995, the week-long package in Niederau includes 20kg luggage, transfers, ski lessons, equipment hire and a six-day lift pass.

It features a week’s half-board accommodation at the three-star Hotel-Pension Hannes, with flights from Birmingham to Innsbruck, departing February 1, 2025.

Besides ski and snowboarding lessons, there are welcome drinks at the hotel, après-ski partying and access to the hotel’s spa and wellness facilities throughout the week.

An awards evening on the last night will celebrate customers’ debut trips to the mountains.

Chris Logan, managing director at the Tui-owned brand, said: “At Crystal Ski Holidays, we are always looking for different ways to make skiing and snowboarding more accessible for beginners.

“Holidays in the mountains offer memorable and happy moments for our customers, and we want as many people as possible to be able to experience them.

“We’ve seen great demand of our Slope Starters offering over the past couple of years and we’re pleased to now be offering even more choice for our customers, with a third resort in Austria.

“With the aim to remove barriers to skiing and snowboarding for those who have never skied before, it lets people experience the fun you can have on – and off – the slopes.

“This programme allows everything to be taken care of in one complete package and gives travellers the chance to make new, like-minded friends along the way.”
