Disney Cruise Line will drop the requirement for children under the age of 12 to be vaccinated from September 2.
Currently, it is mandatory for all guests aged five and over to be vaccinated on sailings leaving US and Canadian ports.
However, from September 2 that rule is being removed, and the vaccination requirement will only apply to people aged 12 and over.

The cruise line’s website has been updated to reflect the changes, but warns that despite it dropping the mandatory testing requirement for under 12s, it “highly recommends that guests ages 11 and younger be fully vaccinated before sailing”.
The line has also updated its testing requirement so fully vaccinated guests on sailings departing US and Canadian ports who take a Covid test up to two days before sailing will be exempt from testing at the terminal.
Those guests who do not take a test and upload their results by midnight prior to embarkation day must be tested at the port at a cost of $74 (£61) for the initial antigen test, and, if needed, $125 (£104) for a confirmatory PCR test.
Several other cruise lines have also eased Covid requirements, including Holland America Line and Seabourn, P&O Cruises and Cunard and Carnival Cruise Line and Princess Cruises.
