Diverse Travel adds Dominica to its range

Dive holiday specialist Diverse Travel has added the Caribbean island of Dominica to its range.

Known as the Nature Island, Dominica offers the chance to dive in deep ocean trenches that are home to marine mammals such as dolphins and more than 20 species of whale, including the sperm whales for which the island is renowned.

Swimming with sperm whales is subject to strict controls and limited permits each year.

On land, Dominica offers natural attractions such as the Caribbean’s longest hiking trail and Morne Trois Pitons National Park.

Diverse Travel’s dive holidays to Dominica start from £1,895, based on departures in June 2022, including return flights via Barbados and seven nights’ room-only accommodation at the Fort Young Hotel & Dive Resort in Roseau, with five days of diving.

Packages are also available at Hotel The Champs, and The Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski in the north of the island.

Limited spaces are available on Diverse Travel’s trips to swim with sperm whales on selected dates in November and December 2021.

A week’s package combining swimming with whales, scuba diving and land tours starts from £4,125, including flights and bed-and-breakfast accommodation.

Diverse Travel is a Member of the Travel Trust Association (TTA), part of The Travel Network Group.
