EasyJet holidays is hosting 20 travel agents to attend this year’s Travel Convention at the Lujo Hotel in Bodrum, Turkey, a property featured by the tour operator.
Abta’s Travel Convention will take place at the five-star all-inclusive hotel (October 30-November 1) – and easyJet holidays is this year’s Lead Partner.
Kelly Walker, head of distribution at easyJet holidays, said: “Trade plays a key role in our business, so we’re delighted to be hosting a number of our much-valued travel agent partners at this year’s Travel Convention.
“As the flagship event of the travel industry, we’re thrilled that easyJet holidays is this year’s Lead Partner.”
The Travel Convention will also continue discussions about sustainability and Abta’s Tourism for Good initiative.
The event will examine the potential impact that climate change and rising temperatures will have on the travel industry and the importance of collaboration to expedite progress on climate action.
Furthermore, speakers will talk about biodiversity – the conservation of land, pollution of oceans and whether AI can help – and discuss a framework for the communication of sustainable travel credentials.
