Hays Travel has awarded a £5,000 cruise to a member of its recruitment team in the second month of The Big Hays Travel Thank You.
All employees are entered into a draw each month as part of the thank you giveaway to reward staff for their hard work and to bring the “fun” back into travel.
Winner Rachel Lovstad, recruitment team leader – who has worked in the company’s recruitment team at head office for nearly a year – has scooped a cruise of her choice.
She said: “I can’t believe it, I am over the moon! We have some big birthdays in the family in the next few years so a cruise would be the perfect way to celebrate.”
Last month travel agent Richard Farmer, from the Wombwell branch of Hays, won a new car.
Hays Travel owner Irene Hays said: “Our first ‘Big Hays Travel Thank You’ was a huge success. We’re delighted to be awarding this month’s £5,000 cruise to continue to say thank you to all our colleagues for their hard work.”
Retail and training director Jane Schumm, who awarded this month’s prize to Lovstad, said: “It is a great fun thing to do for our people. It’s a bit of excitement during a challenging time in travel.”
