Holidaysplease staff pack Christmas gifts for underprivileged children

Hundreds of children in the Midlands will receive Christmas presents thanks to the efforts of staff from Holidaysplease.

Staff working for the operator’s head office spent a day helping sort and pack Christmas presents for underprivileged children in the Midlands area in partnership with the Cash for Kids charity.

Brand and business growth executive Cat Reeves said: “It can be so easy to forget how lucky we are.

“Realising that without this amazing drive that we are playing a very small part in, there are hundreds of kids who would wake up on Christmas day with nothing to unwrap, it shouldn’t happen and it made me quite teary.”

To celebrate its 20 year anniversary, the operator launched a 20 days of giving campaign, where it asked its customers to nominate a charity close to their hearts for them to make a donation to.

Jayne Johnson, operations manager, added: “This has been a brilliant way to connect with our customers and has given us a wide spread of people and particularly smaller local charities that we are proud and humbled to have been able to help.”
