Hurtigruten introduces premium collection for 2025-26

Hurtigruten has introduced a premium collection of sailings for 2025-26 in response to customer feedback.

The Signature collection will offer all-inclusive at standard as well as longer port stays, personalised guiding and exclusive activities, such as hikes, lectures and photography workshops.

In addition to Signature voyages, the line will continue to offer its Original collection, which are a “testament to the enduring essence of Norwegian coastal cruising”, according to chief executive Hedda Felin.

For the 2025-26 season and in response to “growing demand” from guests, the line said it has doubled departure capacity from Oslo, with Signature and Original options available.

Between autumn and spring, MS Trollfjord will offer the North Cape Express itinerary from Oslo, calling at 14 ports, and from May to September, the ship will sail the Svalbard Express itinerary from Bergen.

The line will also continue to work with “chief aurora chaser” Tom Kerss in the 2025-26 season. Kerss will join selected sailings to share insight on the natural phenomenon.

Hurtigruten has extended its Northern Lights guarantee which assures customers that if the Northern Lights do not appear during their sailing, they will receive a free six or seven-day voyage to try again the following season.

“At Hurtigruten, our valued guests are at the heart of everything we do,” said Felin. “Their feedback drives our innovation, shaping the offerings we provide and ensuring that every aspect of their experience exceeds expectations.

“Our Signature voyages embody the essence of Norwegian coastal cruising. Each itinerary has been thoughtfully designed to ensure our guests embark on a journey that captures the very essence of Norway’s coastal charm and heritage.

“This expansion provides travellers with greater flexibility in planning their Norwegian coastal adventure, allowing them to embark on their journey from the dynamic heart of Norway’s capital city.”
