Jordan calls for operators to join fam trips

Jordan Tourism Board is hosting two fam trips for operators interested in selling holidays to the destination.

The first educational will take place in September and is for operators that specialise in adventure holidays and already sell trips to Jordan.

The second is for operators who do not sell Jordan holidays but are interested in exploring the country and meeting the Jordanian trade. A date for this educational has not yet been announced.

Additionally, the tourism board is running a cash incentive for agents and operators in a bid to boost sales.

Agents or operators who sell trips for five nights or more to a minimum of 200 passengers will be eligible to receive cash per passenger. The cash value will rise for sales to more passengers or for additional nights up to a maximum of $12 per passenger.

Speaking to agents and press at an event in London, Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat, managing director of the Jordan Tourism Board, said: “The UK is a hugely important market for us and we are dedicated to helping you to help us showcase all the wonders of our world.

“Our support can come in a form that is best for you, whether it be in fam trips, co-op campaigns or our 2022 initiative scheme that is designed to maximise the length of stay and drive bookings into low seasons.

“We encourage you to approach our UK team to discuss a bespoke approach.”
