Kuoni has introduced a range of three-day adventure packages in Malaysia to its new-look Far East collection for 2022.
The new packages are part of Kuoni’s drive to promote multi-centre holidays that take visitors to explore beyond the beach.
A Borneo Rainforest Experience offers the chance to see orangutans and other wildlife, while a Cameron Highlands trip visits tea plantations and forests.
Both trips can be added to longer itineraries and blended with beach stays in 2022.
Another addition in Malaysia is the Danna Langkawi, a luxury resort overlooking the Andaman Sea.
In Thailand, Kuoni has added two more exclusive hotels – the all-suite Oriental Residence in Bangkok, which is ideal for families looking for a central location, and the newly opened Verso Hua Hin, a boutique design hotel on a sandy beach at Khao Takiab.
The Thai island of Koh Chang has been added to the Kuoni collection for the first time as the operator aims to offer a wider range of locations off the main tourist trails.
In Bali, Kuoni has added Candi Beach Resort & Spa, which is a peaceful alternative to the busy southern coastline.
Paul Ingram, Kuoni programme manager, said: “We’ve looked closely at market trends, how our customers want to travel and we see a clear opportunity to create more experience-led itineraries in the Far East, with a broader choice of quieter locations and small boutique-style properties which we know will appeal to our customers.
“Our customers are looking for inspiration for bucket list adventures and special occasion holidays and what we’ve created is an exciting mix of new and established resorts and experiences, which can be built into tailor-made itineraries.”
