The founder and chief executive of Limitless Travel has been recognised as one of the “most influential people in the UK” in a charity top 100 list.
Angus Drummond launched the disabled-friendly travel specialist in 2014 after he was diagnosed with limb girdle muscular dystrophy, as he wanted to “shape a world in which anyone of any ability and age could travel without limits”.
He was recognised by the Shaw Trust Foundation, a charity which aims to help people who are disabled or otherwise disadvantaged find employment.

The charity included Drummond in the business and finance category of its annual Disability Power 100 list, which celebrates the ambitions and achievements of likeminded people.
“I’m delighted to be included as one of the most influential disabled entrepreneurs for my role at Limitless Travel and our work to achieve our mission of revolutionising travel for people with disabilities,” said Drummond.
“We want to enable everybody and anybody to see and explore this wonderful world we live in.
“It was incredible to be in an environment with so many disabled people who are achieving great things and delivering game-changing work across so many different sectors.
“I never like the word ‘inspiration’, but I felt truly inspired by my peers in the Shaw Trust Disability Power 100, and it’s events like this which give me more motivation and drive than ever to work hard, bring about change and deliver an exceptional service for all disabled people.”
