Premier Holidays has introduced six new tours, 20 extra hotels and six extra experiences to its 2023 range of US holidays.
Other new additions include a section dedicated to the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountaineer’s American train itinerary.
The new products have been developed over the past two years in line with customer and agent feedback.
The holidays aim to have “strong sustainable credentials” and offer opportunities to explore the great outdoors.
The new hotels are “cool and trendy” properties such as Hotel Edison, New York, from £49 per person per night, and Hotel Erwin, Los Angeles, from £129 per person per night.
New experiences include Sedona Stargazing Tour, from £99, and the Food to Freedom Trail Tour of Boston, from £85.
One of the holidays catering to clients seeking sustainable tours is the 12-night Experience America’s West self-drive itinerary, which includes hybrid car hire, stays at three Under Canvas tented properties and four other eco-conscious hotels to explore Vegas and the national parks of Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef and Grand Canyon National Parks. It is priced from £2,949, including flights.
Tim Greathead, North America product manager, said the Pacific Northwest has been added because of its mix of “cosmopolitan, energetic cities and its fantastic array of outdoor experiences and activities”.
“This area of the US is perfect for road trips to explore national parks, while away afternoons at vineyards, stroll along deserted beaches or shop in the numerous markets and boutique galleries.”
The new US route from Rocky Mountaineer travels from Colorado to the deserts of Utah, and a trip costs from £1,099.
The operator has launched a competition for agents, offering five sets of double tickets to see Top Gun as prizes.
Premier’s sales managers Carly Charteris and Karen Milward have been visiting agents with advance copies of the new brochure.
