A Scottish travel agency has hosted more than 100 customers alongside key suppliers to mark its 20th anniversary.
The Holiday and Flight Centre in Hamilton employs 10 staff and has operated out of the same offices for the last two decades.
To mark the milestone, the agency invited 130 clients to The Avonbridge Hotel in the town with suppliers Jet2holidays, Silversea Cruises and Gold Medal Travel.
As well as food and drink, live entertainment included a performance by Motown tribute act The Motown Brothers, who featured on ITV’s The Voice UK last year.
The agency also gave away a holiday for a family of four to Salou with Jet2holidays for a week as part of the event.
In addition, the agency held an open day at the shop for all clients. There was a singer performing outside the branch, cake and Prosecco for customers, and sweets for children.
The events were held as a “thank you” to customers and a celebration of the agency’s anniversary.
Managing director Rosie Ratter, who set up the agency 20 years ago, said it was a particularly important time to hold the event following the Covid pandemic.
She said: “I felt that after a really difficult time for our industry it was so important to mark such a special milestone for me personally and the team who work so hard in the business.
“This was our way of thanking some of our loyal customers for their support and moving on from the last two years.”
It was the largest anniversary event the agency has hosted, she said, adding: “The event went really well. Customers had a great time enjoying the entertainment, food and drinks and since the event we have had a lot coming in to book holidays and cruises.”
When the agency opened it sold flight-only and standard package holidays. It has since broadened its product range to include long-haul holidays, cruises and large group bookings.
