Seabourn confirms details for UK agent roadshow series

Seabourn has confirmed the dates for its series of UK roadshows.

The three roadshows, called the “extraordinary expeditions rendezvous”, aim to educate trade partners on the line’s purpose-built expedition ships Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit and the destinations the two ships will visit between 2023 and 2025.

The line said the events have also been designed to “reinforce and strengthen Seabourn’s commitment to travel partners and the UK travel trade”, and will provide them with sales tools, assets and a goodie bag.

Robin West, vice-president and general manager of expeditions, will host all three events alongside members of Seabourn’s UK-based business development team.

The first event will take place in Glasgow on March 28, followed by a second in Altrincham on March 30 and a third in London on March 31. They all start at 11.30am and include lunch.

Up to 40 agents can attend the London roadshow, while the Glasgow and Altrincham events can cater for up to 80 people.

One agent from each roadshow will win a place on a table hosted by Seabourn at Travel Weekly’s Agent Achievement Awards on July 13.

Agents can register to attend by emailing salessupport@seabourn.co.uk.

Wendy Lahmich, director of sales for UK & Europe, said: “We are calling these our rendezvous events since it’s our chance to meet and share our news, immersive video and sales tools with our current and new-to-cruise agents – who will learn more about Seabourn and enjoy a few surprises.”

“The last time we held a programme of similar events was in 2019, when we received an incredible response from agent partners. We therefore encourage travel advisors to book their place at their selected event as soon as possible.”
