Serenity Holidays recruits commercial and marketing executives

Serenity Holidays has appointed Chris Barnaville as head of product and commercial, while Vicky Eagle has joined as marketing manager to strengthen its in-house marketing team.

Barnaville will oversee development, performance and maintenance of Serenity’s current five specialist products: The Gambia Experience, Cape Verde Experience, Goa Experience, Corsican Places and Sardinian Places.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry, most recently serving as head of commercial at HF Holidays and previously as commercial director with Carnival UK.

Eagle has more than 15 years’ experience in marketing and hospitality, with previous roles at Southampton airport and InterContinental Hotels.

Barnaville said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Serenity Holidays with its strong and well-established brands that specialise in some fantastic destinations.

“The company has a great collaborative working culture and, in casting fresh eyes over its products, I’m looking forward to developing unforgettable experiences for customers while harnessing demand post-Covid-19.”

Eagle added: “I’ve been given a wonderful welcome and am excited to work with the marketing team to advance brand marketing strategies and drive their products forward.”

Chris Ayling, Serenity’s managing director, commented: “Their extensive knowledge and experience will play a crucial role in advancing our products in line with changing needs and times.”

The company is also seeking to appoint a trade marketing executive and a digital marketing executive to join the team.
