Travel.Radio has announced a new programme called Your Travel Questions, which will offer tips and advice from experts Simon Calder and Paul Charles.
Calder is a well-known travel journalist and broadcaster, while Charles is chief executive of The PC Agency and a regular Travel.Radio presenter.
The 60-minute programme will broadcast each Sunday at 10am on Travel.Radio.
News of its launch comes as the sector awaits the government’s announcement about how countries will be graded under the new traffic light system for overseas travellers.
Non-essential international travel is set to resume from May 17 and the traffic light grading is expected to be revealed later this week.
Listeners can pose their questions on Twitter using the hashtag #YourTravelQuestions and tag @yourtravelradio.
Charles said: “We know there is huge demand out there for clear answers on which countries will be safe to travel to after May 17.
“We’ll be doing our best to decipher government signals as well as interpret government announcements so that consumers can plan their business and leisure trips with more certainty in 2021.”
Calder added: “I’m delighted to team up with Paul to offer top tips and advice so that consumers can be more reassured about summer travel.
“Your Travel Questions will enable us to flesh out some of the details of travel which can often be missed out in the news and also track how travel is restarting around the world as we see light at the end of the Covid tunnel.”
