Ski Famille has appointed a new managing director as it announces the departure of Ian Hope.
Financial director Michelle Bristow has stepped up to become MD of the ski tour operator following news that Hope has left after five years in the role.
During his tenure, the trade-friendly operator introduced a new brand, Ski Vertigo, which is more focused on ski breaks for adults, and its first chalet hotel.
Hope, who joined in 2019 and replaced previous MD Chris Thompson, said: “I am proud to be leaving Ski Famille in good shape and on a stable footing after what has been the most challenging time in the travel industry.
“We introduced a new ski brand Ski Vertigo to the market which has gone from strength to strength and already boasts many new high altitude chalets. This season also saw our first Ski Famille Chalet Hotel hit the market.”
Chairman Peter Dyer said: “All at Ski Famille would like to thank Ian for his hard work at Ski Famille and Ski Vertigo and we wish him well for the future.”
Bristow starts in the role after almost ten years with the tour operator as financial director.
Ski Famille stands to gain more business following the decision by Hotelplan UK to close rival operator Esprit Ski.
